T20 World Cup 2024 Final Match Interruptions and Reserve Day Conditions
If a match is delayed or interrupted due to bad weather, an additional 190 minutes may be used to complete it. A match of at least 10 overs is required for the result. If neither team can bowl at least 10 overs each, the match will be played on a reserve day, with certain restrictions. As per the playing conditions prescribed by the ICC, if there is rain interruption even on the reserve day, every effort will be made to complete the match on that day with the necessary reduction in overs. If the match starts on the appointed day and, after the interruption, the overs are shortened, but play cannot be resumed, the match will be restarted on the reserve day from the last ball played.

Super Over and Joint Winners Scenario
In case of a draw in the T20 World Cup 2024 Final, a Super Over will be played as per ICC rules to decide the winner. If a winner is not decided on the reserve day, the result of the match will be declared if a super over is also not possible. If the Super Over is abandoned, weather prevents its completion or there is no result, the joint title will be awarded to South Africa and India.
