Sanju Samson Reflects on Missing T20 World Cup Final
Sanju Samson has made a big revelation. Samson gave his opinion about the T20 World Cup final and said that he was going to play the final but the decision to keep him out of the XI was taken at the last moment. Sanju revealed this during an interview on Vimal Kumar’s YouTube channel.

Disappointment Before the Toss
In the interview, Sanju gave his opinion and said, “It was the morning of the final. I was getting a chance to play in the match. I was asked to be ready. I was all set to play the final. But before the toss it was decided that there would be no change in the playing XI.
Samson further said, “When this thing came to light, there was a bit of disappointment but I thought no problem, this happens. At the same time, Rohit bhai came to me during the warm-up and he talked to me. Rohit bhai explained to me why he took such a decision.”

Sanju further said about Rohit, “Rohit bhai explained to me in his way. I told him again that yes I understand..you go and play the match. We will talk about this after winning the match.”
After this, Rohit left but after a minute he came back and told me, “You are talking a lot about me in your mind, I feel like..you are not happy.”
After Rohit bhai said this, I said, “No bhai..there is nothing like that. After this, we also had a short conversation with Rohit Bhai. Sanju said during the interview that, I felt a little sorry that I could not play the final under Rohit bhai’s captaincy. One thing I liked was that in a big match like the final, Rohit bhai talked to me before the toss. At that time I came to know that this guy had something different to say. ”
Let us tell you that in the final, the Indian team was successful in defeating South Africa by 7 runs. Rishabh Pant could not do anything special in the final and was out without opening the account.
