USA’s Triumph over Canada
USA beat Canada by 7 wickets in the T20 World Cup 2024 tournament opener. Canada challenged the US to 195 runs for victory. UAS were 42 for 2 while chasing this challenge. Andries Goss was then dismissed for 65 runs. But Aaron Jones stayed unbeaten till the end and hit a six to give the USA victory. Aaron Jones was the true hero of the USA’s victory. Aaron Jones played the winning knock of 94 not out. Jones top scored for the USA. Jones scored 94 runs off 40 balls at a strike rate of 235. Jones hit 10 sixes and 4 fours in this innings.

Jones of course scored 76 runs off 14 balls. Jones was honored with the Man of the Match award for this inning.

Pakistan’s Looming Challenge
USA’s next match is against Pakistan on June 6. Pakistan will be the first match of the World Cup campaign. Therefore, Pakistan’s tension has increased after seeing Jones’ brilliant innings before the first match. So Pakistan will have a challenge to stop Jones in the match against the USA.
