Actually, Allah Ghazanfar was born on March 20, 2006, in the Zurmat district of Afghanistan. Allah, who is 6 feet 2 inches tall, initially turned to fast bowling. However, a major change in the direction of his career came when former Afghanistan captain Daulat Ahmadzai introduced him to spin bowling. Ghazanfar started honing his art as an off-spinner at the age of 18.
Allah started playing cricket during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. Ghazanfar was included during the IPL 2023 auction. He was the youngest player to participate in that year’s auction and his base price for the auction was Rs 20 lakh. However, he did not find any buyer during that time. In 2024, Allah Ghazanfar’s luck shone when KKR included him in their squad as a replacement for Mujeeb ur Rahman.
