Chances for Day 4 Play
The pitch was fine, but due to the wet outfield, some parts got filled with water, the ground staff worked hard to dry it, but they were not successful in it. The umpire inspected the ground several times. Despite this, the toss could not take place. On the second day, the ground workers used a new trick and dug out the grass and land where the water was filled and planted the grass on the practice ground. However, this also did not help much.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board has said that if the conditions remain good on the fourth day, the match will start at 9 o’clock and 98 overs will be played.
