After this, most players from South Africa have given their names in the auction. A total of 91 South African players have registered. 44 capped players and 32 uncapped players have registered in South Africa’s 91-man roster.

Teamsβ Retained Players and Budget
Ahead of the mega IPL Auction, all 10 franchises retained 46 players at a combined spend of Rs 558.50 crore. This includes 36 Indian players and 10 foreign players. There are also 10 uncapped players among the 36 Indians. Ten franchises have Rs 641.5 crore to buy 204 players. Out of these 204 places, 70 are for foreign players
