Leicestershire’s Thrilling Chase Against Hampshire

In the quarterfinal match of the Metro ODI Cup, Leicestershire faced Hampshire. Hampshire, led by captain Nick Gubbins, posted a challenging total of 290 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs, thanks to a brilliant 136-run knock by Gubbins. Leicestershire was set a target of 291 runs to win the match, which they successfully chased down in 49.5 overs, losing 7 wickets in the process.

Ajinkya Rahane, along with Peter Handscomb and Liam Trevaskis, was among the top scorers for Leicestershire. Rahane contributed a vital 70 runs off 86 balls, hitting 2 fours and 3 sixes.
