Arshdeep Singh achieved a new feat against England and became India’s highest wicket-taker in T20
In the first match of the ongoing T20 series against England, Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh achieved a special feat. By taking the wicket of Ben Duckett, he became India’s highest wicket-taker in T20 internationals, surpassing Yuzvendra Chahal.
Arshdeep Singh needed only two wickets to achieve this feat. While bowling, he sent Phil Salt back to the pavilion in the first over. With this wicket, he equalled Yuzvendra Chahal’s record
The left-arm pacer set a new record by taking the wicket of Ben Duckett. Before him, Chahal was the highest wicket-taker Indian bowler in T20 with 96 wickets. With the wicket of Duckett, Arshdeep created a new history by taking his 97th wicket in T20 international matches.

The Indian team won the toss and decided to bowl first. Left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh took the important wickets of Salt and Duckett for the Indian team in the powerplay. The Indian team had a great start. Captain Jos Buttler played a brilliant innings for England.
Varun Chakraborty wreaked havoc on England’s innings by taking the wickets of Harry Brook and Liam Livingstone. England was all out at 132 runs and With the brilliant inning of Abhisekh Sharma’s team India easily chased down the target.
