The Australian bowlers thrashed Namibia to the maximum. Apart from captain Gerhard Erasmus (36) from Namibia, none of the batsmen were able to play well. David Warner was dismissed for 20 runs. Travis Head (34 not out) and captain Mitchell Marsh scored 18 not out to seal the win for their team. With this win, Australia sealed their Super 8 ticket.

Australia secured their place in the Super 8 by winning the match against Namibia. Also, Australia has become the second team to qualify for Super 8.
