PCB Committee Considers Young Talent in place of Babar Azam
Pakistan lost the first Test by 34 runs and inning against England. Babar Azam struggled completely in that match. He is not able to score 50 on this flat pitch. He scored 30 runs on 71 balls in the 1st inning and only 5 runs in the 2nd inning against England. The Pakistan Cricket Board has formed a new five-member committee headed by Mohsin Naqvi. The committee has decided that Babar should be rested for the second Test and replaced by a young player.
Pakistan Team Captain Shaan Masood defended Babar; he said, “Babar Azam is one of the best batsmen in the Pakistan team. We hope he will be back in form soon.” Some committee members also support Babar. With only a few days left for the second Test, it will be interesting to see what the Pakistan team management decides regarding Babar Azam.
