Babar Azam wrote on X, Dear Fans, “I am sharing some news with you today. I have decided to resign from the post of captain of the Pakistan Men’s Cricket Team, effective from my notification given to the PCB and team management last month. It has been an honor to lead this team, but now the time has come for me to step down and focus on my role.” I will focus on the game

He wrote, “Captaincy has been a great experience, but it has also added a significant workload. I want to prioritize my performance, enjoy my batting, and spend time with my family, which makes me happy. By stepping down I will gain clarity moving forward and focus more energy on my game and personal development.”

Performance Under Babar’s Captaincy
