Bangladesh will play the Test and T20I series against Team India during the India tour. But before this Test series, there has been a big change in the Bangladesh Cricket Board. An important member of the Bangladesh Cricket Board has resigned from his post. This veteran has contributed significantly to the development of Bangladesh Cricket Board for the last 11 years.
Former Bangladesh captain Khalid Mahmood has resigned as the director of the Cricket Board. Due to the changed political equations in Bangladesh, Mahmood has resigned from the post. The political upheaval in Bangladesh has also affected the cricket board. Mahmood had won the directorship election in 2013.

Khalid Mahmood Resigns from BCB
Khalid Mahmood has contributed a lot to Bangladesh cricket. Mahmood has fulfilled the responsibility of BCB Sports Development Chairman. It was during Mahmood’s tenure that Bangladesh won the Under-19 World Cup in 2020. This is the only ICC trophy won by Bangladesh. Also, Mahmood has effectively fulfilled the responsibility of many positions including interim head coach.

India vs Bangladesh: Test Series Begins Soon
the Test series between Team India and Bangladesh will start from September 19. The Indian team for the opening match of this series has been announced. Rohit Sharma will lead Team India. Both Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant have returned to the team after many months. On the other hand, Bangladesh has not announced the team yet.
