The 10th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League 2024 tournament will be held from January 19 to February 21. Seven teams, namely Chattogram Challengers, Comilla Victorians, Durdanto Dhaka, Fortune Barishal, Khulna Tigers, Rangpur Riders, and Sylhet Strikers, will participate in this tournament. Between January 19 and February 21, a total of 42 matches will be played among these 7 teams in the league stage. After the league stage matches, only 4 teams will qualify for the playoffs, where they will compete in the qualifier and semifinal matches.
The prominent players from the Bangladesh team, such as Shakib Al Hasan, Dasun Shanaka, Mushfiqur Rahim, Curtis Campher, Moeen Ali, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Tamim Iqbal, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Amir, Kasun Rajitha, Babar Azam, Wanindu Hasaranga, Taskin Ahmed, and Ben Cutting are going to play in this league.
However, due to commitments in other T20 leagues and international matches, several big players will miss the initial matches.
