BBL 2024: The 14th season of the Big Bash League is starting on Sunday, 15 December. In the very first match, five-time champions Perth Scorchers will face the star-studded Melbourne Stars.

Also, defending champions Brisbane Heat will start their campaign against Melbourne Stars on December 18.

BBL 2024-25: Start Date and Schedule

BBL 2024-25 will see eight teams vying for the glittering trophy. A total of 44 matches will be played during this period. There will be some 40 matches between all the teams in the group stage.

Most of Australia’s star players are currently busy playing the Border Gavaskar Trophy against the Indian team. In such a situation, these players will not be able to participate in the first half of the BBL. However, many international cricketers have signed up for the 14th edition.

The 14th edition of the Big Bash League 2024-25 will begin on Sunday, December 15. The knockout games will be played on January 21, 22 and 24, and the final will be played on January 27.
