Search for India’s New Head Coach
Rahul Dravid, the current coach of the Indian cricket team, will soon end his coaching tenure. In such a situation, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is searching for a new coach. Next month, Team India will play on a big stage like the Twenty20 World Cup. In such a situation, former Indian team spinner Harbhajan Singh has expressed his desire for the post of coach. Harbhajan is currently working as a commentator in IPL. Apart from this, he is also a Rajya Sabha member of the Aam Aadmi Party.
Harbhajan Singh’s Interest in Coaching:
Harbhajan Singh said, “I don’t know whether I will apply for the coaching post or not.” Coaching the Indian team means managing the players and the team. It’s not about teaching players how to hit cover drives or what shots to hit. Because the players know this very well. As a coach, you must have something more to offer. Cricket has given me a lot and if I get a chance to give it back, I will be very happy. ‘Bhajji’ was talking to news agency ANI.
