Ireland cricket team head coach Henrique Malan has given the green signal to a 2-year extension. Therefore, the Ireland cricket team has got a big relief before the T20 World Cup. Malan will now be in charge of Ireland until mid-2027. The responsibility of improving Ireland’s performance before the upcoming ODI World Cup 2027 will now be on the shoulders of Malan. Malan took charge of the Ireland cricket team for the first time as head coach in January 2022. Ireland Cricket had given information about this on January 4. Then a 3-year contract was signed. Malan was appointed in place of Graham Ford.

Focus Shifts to ICC T20 World Cup 2024
After the 17th season of IPL, the attention of cricket fans has now turned towards the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. A total of 20 teams will participate in this tournament. These 20 teams have been divided into 4 groups based on 5-5. Team India is in Group A. Team India will go to America in Group 2 for the World Cup.
