Chad Bowes broke the record of Australian and Sunrisers Hyderabad opener Travis Head. Travis had earlier scored the fastest double century in 114 balls while playing for South Australia in List A. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Tamil Nadu opener Narayan Jagadeesan also scored 200 runs off 114 balls against Arunachal Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match in 2022.
