Team India’s ace leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s havoc is not stopping in the County Championship Division 2. After his condition of Derbyshire worsened, now he is busy spoiling the move of Leicestershire. The 52nd match of the tournament is being played in Northampton from 17 September. Here Chahal is a part of the Northamptonshire team. The 34-year-old leg-spinner took a total of 4 wickets in the first innings for his team. The result was that the opposing team Leicestershire collapsed for just 203 runs in their first innings.

Leicestershire Struggles After Winning the Toss

Leicestershire captain Lewis Hill’s decision to bat first after winning the toss in Northampton was not right. Opener Rishi Patel, who came to open the innings, was dismissed on the first ball of the fourth over without opening the account. However, his partner Sol Budinger’s performance was excellent.
