Change in Women’s Asian Games Team: Pooja Vastrakar Replaces Sarvani Due to Injury

In a recent development, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made significant changes to the India women’s squads for the 19th Asian Games 2023. Anjali Sarvani, who was initially part of the squad, has been sidelined due to a knee injury, paving the way for Pooja Vastrakar to step in as her replacement.

Anjali Sarvani, a promising left-arm pacer, unfortunately, had to withdraw from the squad due to her knee injury. The Women’s Selection Committee took swift action by including Pooja Vastrakar, who was previously listed as a standby player, to fill the void left by Sarvani.
