Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who arrived at the opening ceremony of the 36th All India Advocate Cricket Tournament, came out to bat as a player. He started batting at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Recently, the Irani Cup 2024 match was played between Mumbai and the Rest of India team at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

As a batsman, CM Yogi hit great shots. Wearing saffron attire, sandals on feet and bat in hand, Yogi Adityanath faced the bowling. The staff members were present on the pitch and some players started clapping after seeing his shots. This video of him is going viral on social media. This style of his is attracting people a lot.
On this occasion of the inauguration ceremony, Chief Minister Yogi shared a post on the social media platform X and wrote,
“Today I attended the inauguration ceremony of the 36th All India Advocate Cricket Tournament held in Lucknow. In the last 10 years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sports activities in the country have increased a lot. ‘Fit India Movement’ and ‘MP Sports Competition’ are proof of the change in sports. I extend my heartiest wishes and congratulations to all the teams participating in the competition.”
Apart from Yogi Adityanath, many other celebrities were present at the inauguration of the 36th All India Advocate Cricket Tournament. Justice AR Masoodi, Justice Sangeeta Chandra and Justice Rajesh Singh Chauhan were the guests of honour. This tournament will be of 36 matches. The final match will be broadcast live on Doordarshan’s sports channel.
