End of an era: Colin Munro bids farewell to international cricket

37-year-old New Zealand batsman Colin Munro has retired from international cricket. However, he will continue to play franchise cricket. Munro has taken this decision due to not being selected in the New Zealand team for the T20 World Cup.

He has not played a single international match for New Zealand since 2020. However, he had declared himself available for the T20 World Cup. His name was also considered for the T20 World Cup. New Zealand coach Gray Stead has confirmed this. He said, Munro’s name was also considered during the selection of the World Cup team, but this left-handed batsman was not getting a place in the team.
