However, the woman in the video is Yasmin Badiani, and her role has now come to light.

The name of the woman who went viral on social media is Yasmin Badiani. Yasmin is a member of the operations team of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). However, fans of the Indian cricket team felt that Yasmin is a member of the support staff of the Indian team. She has been appointed by the ECB to assist during the Indian team’s tour of England.

Yasmin’s job during the Anderson-Tendulkar 2025 Trophy is to take care of all the logistics related to the Indian team’s tour. Along with this, she takes care of the team’s match schedule, practice sessions, stadium axis and travel arrangements, etc.

Usually, whenever there is a match in a country, the host cricket board appoints an officer from its operations staff for the visiting team, whose job is to ensure that the foreign team does not face any kind of problem.

Yasmin’s Background in Sports

Yasmin Badiani obtained a degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Leicester in 2010. She was associated with Leicester City Football Club as a physiotherapist from 2010 to 2013. Here she used to give physiotherapy to athletes during training and matches.

Yasmin joined the England and Wales Cricket Board in August 2022, and now she is doing operational work with national and international teams. Notably, Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is not included in the playing XI in the match being played at Edgbaston.
