ICC T20I Rankings Update: Indian T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav has dropped out of the top five in the latest ICC Men’s T20I batting rankings. On the other hand, England’s star spinner Adil Rashid has risen to second place in the bowling rankings after his impressive performance in the recent 3-0 T20I series victory over the West Indies. The latest ICC update has introduced several changes across the batting, bowling, and all-rounder categories.
ICC T20I Rankings Update: Jos Buttler Overtakes Suryakumar in Batting Rankings
Recently, England won the T20 series against the West Indies by a convincing 3-0 margin. After this, their players have gained a lot of benefits. Adil Rashid has made a big leap. He has occupied the second position with a rating of 710.
He is just 13 points behind New Zealand fast bowler Jacob Duffy (723), who is currently at number 1. Rashid’s teammate Brydon Carse has also increased in the rankings. He has climbed 16 places to reach 52nd position.
Talking about the T20I batting rankings, Suryakumar Yadav has slipped one place to sixth position. He has been overtaken by England captain Jos Buttler. Butler performed brilliantly with the bat in the series against the West Indies. He now has 772 rating points, while Suryakumar has 739 points.
Big Gains for Duckett, Brook, and West Indies Stars
England’s Ben Duckett jumped 48 places to 16th position. His teammate Harry Brook also jumped six places to joint 38th position.
For the West Indies, captain Shai Hope jumped 14 places to 15th position. Rovman Powell also managed to make it to the top 20. There was no major change in the ranking of all-rounders. India’s Hardik Pandya remains at the top with 252 rating points, while England’s Liam Livingstone has slipped three places to sixth position.
Hardik Pandya Retains Top Spot Among All-Rounders
There were no significant changes in the ICC T20I all-rounders’ rankings. India’s Hardik Pandya maintains the No. 1 position with 252 points. However, England’s Liam Livingstone has fallen three places and is now ranked No. 6.
