The Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa will host a
Men’s African Games T20 cricket tournament in 2024. The tournament will start on March 17 and end on March 23. It will be played in the T20 format and span six days of intense cricket action. The tournament will occur in Ghana, and some of the region’s most iconic cricket stadiums will host the matches.
The eight teams representing nations or clubs will participate in the Men’s African Games T20 2024. The teams will play 17 matches at venues such as Achimota Senior Secondary School A Field, Accra, Accra, and Achimota Senior Secondary School B Field, Accra, Accra
Eight teams were divided into two groups (i.e., Group A & Group B). Group A consists of Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, and Uganda, while Group B consists of Namibia, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe, which are in Group B. Each team will play three games in a single round-robin format, with the top two teams from each group moving to the knockouts.
