Dinesh Karthik Leads Southern Super Stars to Victory
Team India’s former wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik has started his new innings with a bang. Under his leadership, Karthik has given the Super Stars team a winning start in the Legends League Cricket 2024 tournament. The fourth match of the tournament pitted Southern Super Stars against Shikhar Dhawan-led Gujarat Greats. Karthik’s team challenged Dhawan’s team to 145 runs for victory. Dhawan scored a brilliant half-century to bring the team closer to victory. But Karthik’s team made a comeback at the last minute and restricted Gujarat to 118 for 9 in 20 overs. Thus Southern Super Stars won this match by 26 runs.

Dhawan’s Half-Century in Vain
Shikhar Dhawan scored 52 runs for Gujarat. Dhawan scored 52 runs in 48 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 3 fours. But apart from Dhawan, other batsmen from Gujarat knelt. Morne van Wyk and Manan Sharma both scored 15 and 10 respectively. Both of them could not even crack a pumpkin. Others could not do anything special.
