England vs West Indies: Second Test Preview
The West Indies cricket team is currently on a tour of England. A 3-match Test series is being played between England and West Indies. England won the first Test against the West Indies by an innings and 114 runs on the third day. With this win, England took a 1-0 lead in the series. Also, this was the last test and international match of legendary bowler James Anderson. England gave Anderson a triumphant farewell too. After that, the England Cricket Board announced the playing eleven for the second match of the series.

Changes in England’s Lineup
For the second Test, England has made one expected change to their playing eleven. Mark Wood replaces James Anderson following Anderson’s retirement. Wood’s inclusion aims to maintain the strength and balance of the team. The second Test is being held at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, from Thursday, July 18th to Monday, July 22nd. Ben Stokes will continue to lead the Eng team, while Craig Brathwaite captains the West Indies.
First Test Recap
In the first match, England won the toss and promptly wrapped up the Windies in the first innings. Windies’ first innings ended on 121 runs. Eng then scored 371 runs in the first innings. Eng thus took a huge lead of 250 runs in the first innings. After that, Windies could manage only 136 runs in reply to 250 runs in the second innings. In this way, Eng bowled out Windies by 1 innings and 114 runs on the third day
