Jos Buttler Returns as England Announces Squad for West Indies Series

England has announced its team for the upcoming ODI and T20 series against West Indies. The command of the team will be in the hands of Jos Buttler. Captain Jos Buttler was out of the series against Australia due to injury. Now he has returned to the team. He is fully ready to play now. Apart from him, team management selects strong players.

The three-match T20 and five-match ODI series between England and West Indies will start in October-November. The England team includes excellent players like Adil Rashid, Jofra Archer and Sam Curran. Three uncapped players are also part of the team. Overall, the selector formed a strong team against WI.

ENG vs WI: 3 uncapped players in England team:

Yorkshire’s 22-year-old leg-spinner Jaffer Chauhan will play for the England team for the first time.  He is the first graduate of the South Asian Cricket Academy to make his place in the England men’s team. John Turner and Dan Mousley are the other two uncapped players. Both these players were also part of the Australia series at present.

England has announced 14 players right now. It is expected that the remaining two players will be selected after the third Test match against Pakistan in Rawalpindi on October 28. In which Harry Brook is a strong contender. He took charge of the England team against Australia in the absence of Jos Buttler.

Harry Brook is included in the Test series against Pakistan.

On this tour, the ODI Series will be played first. After this series, a five-match T20 series will start between October 9 and November 17. West Indies will host these matches.
