England Clinches Series Victory
England defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in the fourth match of the 4-match T20 series. With this win, England also won the series 2-0. Only 2 matches could be played in this series, the remaining 2 were canceled due to rain.
England won the toss and decided to bowl at the Oval in London on Thursday evening. Batting, Pakistan scored 157 runs for losing all wickets in 19.5 overs. In reply, England achieved the target in 15.3 overs with 3 wickets in hand.

Adil Rashid took 2 wickets for England and also took 2 catches, which earned him the Man of the Match award. Meanwhile, Mark Wood and Liam Livingstone went ahead 2-2. Chris Jordan, Moeen Ali, and Jofra Archer took 1-1 wickets. Phil Salt scored 45 runs while batting. Pakistan’s Haris Rauf took 3 wickets.
Phil Salt and Jos Buttler started the innings for England. Phil Salt played an aggressive innings and scored 45 runs in just 24 balls. This included two sixes. At the same time, Jos Buttler scored 39 runs in 21 balls. This pair scored 78 runs in the powerplay itself.

Both gave a strong start and added 59 runs in the powerplay. But the team’s first wicket fell on the last ball of the powerplay and Rizwan was out after scoring 23 runs. Jofra Archer took his wicket.
In the next over, Babar also became the victim of Adil Rashid. Rashid bowled him and he returned after scoring 36 runs. Usman Khan added some runs for the team during this time and scored 38 runs off 21 balls.
Moeen Ali performed brilliantly and took the wicket of Fakhar Zaman in the 9th over. Zaman was out after scoring 9 runs. Shadab Khan was out on the very first ball. Rashid dismissed him.
