A Hero’s Welcome in Vadodara
Hardik Pandya’s road show started from Mandvi and concluded at Navlakhi Compound, passing through Laharipura, Sursagar, and Dandiya Bazar. Thousands of fans lined the streets to catch a glimpse of their hero. The bus, adorned with the words ‘Pride of Vadodara,’ carried Hardik as he waved to the crowd, donning Team India’s jersey. Fans waved tricolor flags and chanted patriotic slogans, creating a festive atmosphere. The song ‘Vande Mataram’ played in the background, adding to the patriotic fervor.

Hardik’s brother, Krunal Pandya, later joined him on the open bus. While Hardik acknowledged the fans’ cheers, Krunal, dressed in a black T-shirt and pants, shared in the joyous occasion. One amusing moment mirrored a scene from the Mumbai celebration when a fan climbed a tree to get a better view of Hardik. This road show highlighted the love and admiration the people of Vadodara have for their cricketing hero.
