The ICC has announced prize money for T20 World Cup. The team that wins the final match will get the highest $ 1.6 million, about Rs 13 crore, while the second team reaching the final will be given about Rs 6.5 crore
T20 World Cup 2022 is near. Regarding this mega event, the ICC has declared the prize money of the tournament. $5.6 million has been earmarked for the T20 World Cup. In Indian rupees, this amount is approximately Rs 45.67 crore. The team that wins the final match will get the highest $ 1.6 million,about Rs 13 crore, while the second team reaching the final will be given about Rs 6.5 crore.
A sum of $1.6 million will be given to the winning men’s team in the T20 World Cup 2022 in Melbourne on 13 November. The runner-up team will get half of this amount. This tournament will last for about 1 month in which 16 teams will participate. The team that loses in the semi-finals will be given 4 lakh US dollars. At the same time, 7 thousand US dollars will be given to each team in the 8 teams that are eliminated from the Super 12.

The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will start from 16 October. 8 teams including West Indies and Sri Lanka will face each other in the first round. Out of these 4 teams will qualify for Super 12. The Super 12 will begin on October 22 with the first match between defending champions Australia and New Zealand. The Indian team will make its debut in this tournament with arch-rivals Pakistan on 23 October.
