The Champions Trophy 2025 is being played between eight teams. Group A has India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand and Group B has South Africa, England, Australia and Afghanistan. All teams will play three matches each in the group stage round. After the group round, the top-2 teams will reach the semi-finals, after which the final will be played on March 9. Let us tell you, the match will be held in Dubai only if India reaches the final.
India Beats Pakistan to Stay on Top
The fifth match of the Champions Trophy 2025 was played between Pakistan and India in Dubai on 23 February. Pakistan won the toss and batted first and were all out for 241 runs in 49.4 overs. Saud Shakeel played an innings of 62 runs with the help of 5 fours in 76 balls. For India, Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets for 40 runs in 9 overs. Hardik took two wickets.
Team India chased the target in 42.3 overs and registered a spectacular victory by 6 wickets. Virat Kohli played an unbeaten innings of 100 runs with the help of 7 fours in 111 balls. Shreyas Iyer scored 56 runs in 67 balls.
