The first match will be between England and New Zealand. The defending champions, England, will face New Zealand in the opening match on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. According to Cricbuzz, India may play its first match against Australia. Additionally, India will also face Pakistan in a league match.
