ILT20 Season 3 opening ceremony: ILT20 Season 3, airing on ZEE, is all set to enthral the audience and fans worldwide with a spectacular opening ceremony, headlined by Bollywood megastars Shahid Kapoor, Pooja Hegde and Sonam Bajwa. His mesmerizing performance will grace the Dubai International Stadium on Saturday, January 11, 2025, starting at 7:30 PM IST.
Bollywood Stars and Cricket Legends Unite for ILT20 Launch
Shahid Kapoor, Pooja and Sonam Bawaja will kick off the festivities with spectacular renditions of their blockbuster songs followed by a spectacular fireworks display to enthrall the audience. Adding another sparkle to the event, renowned Bollywood producer and actor Jackie Bhagnani and Ridhima Pathak will preside over the inaugural function.
Speaking before the inauguration ceremony, Shahid Kapoor said, “If you know me, you know how much I love cricket and dance. And when the two come together, you expect to experience the best of both worlds, which is why I look forward to being a part of the opening ceremony of the International League T20 at the Dubai International Stadium on January 11, 2025.”

ILT20 Season 3: A Thrilling Start with Bollywood and Cricket Stars
The opening evening will feature a unique blend of the best of Bollywood and the pinnacle of T20 cricket, set against the stunning backdrop of DIS, popularly known as The Ring of Fire. Ticket sales for the opening match of the season have been unprecedented, with stadiums packed for a special Saturday evening game at DIS.
The first ball of the season will be bowled at 8:45 PM IST, as defending champions MI Emirates take on Dubai Capitals in a thrilling rematch of last year’s Grand Final

The six ILT20 franchises are Andre Russell (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders), Sunil Narine (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders), Alex Hales (Desert Vipers), Sherfan Rutherford (Desert Vipers), David Warner (Dubai Capitals), Rowman Powell (Dubai Capitals), Chris Jordan (Gulf Giants), Shimron Hetmyer (Gulf Giants), T20 superstars like Aqeel Hossain (MI Emirates), Nicholas Pooran (MI Emirates), Adil Rashid (Sharjah Warriors wildcard pick in season 2) and Johnson Charles (Sharjah Warriors) have been retained.
England white-ball great Jason Roy (Sharjah Warriors) has returned to the league after playing twice for Abu Dhabi Knight Riders last season.
Former West Indies captain Jason Holder will play for Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, the all-rounder who played for Dubai Capitals last season. England’s explosive opener Phil Salt and Pakistan’s left-arm spinner Sufyan Mukeem have also joined the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders.
