Team India Qualifies for Super 8 in T20 World Cup 2024
Team India qualified for the Super 8 with a win over the USA on Wednesday 12th June. Team India became the first team to reach the Super 8 from Group A and the third team overall. Team India won the first 3 out of 4 matches in the series. Team India defeated Ireland, Pakistan, and the USA. Now Team India’s fourth and final match will be against Canada on June 15. Super 8 Format and Schedule
In the Super 8 stage, the eight qualifying teams are divided into two groups of four. From Group A, Team India and Australia have secured their positions. From Group B, the West Indies and South Africa have advanced. The remaining four teams are yet to be decided. Team India will play three matches in the Super 8, all scheduled to start at 8 PM IST and take place in the West Indies. Their matches are as follows:
- June 20: vs Afghanistan from Group C
- June 22: vs Bangladesh from Group D
- June 24: vs Australia From Group B

Path to the Finals
Team India currently sits atop the Group A points table, with notable victories against Ireland, Pakistan, and the USA. The USA follows India in the standings, hoping to secure their spot in the Super 8 as well. The semi-finals are set for June 26 in Trinidad and June 27 in Guyana, with the grand final scheduled for June 29.
