IND vs AFG T20i Series: Major Setback for Team – Star Player Ruled Out Just a Day Before the Kickoff

IND vs AFG – The eagerly anticipated T20 series between Team India and Afghanistan is just a few hours away. It marks the first-time occurrence of the T20 series between the two teams.

The first match of the series will kick off on January 11 at 7 PM, with the toss scheduled for 6:30 PM. Both Team India and Afghanistan have undergone rigorous practice. However, before the match, there’s unfortunate news.

Reports state that Afghanistan’s star all-rounder Rashid Khan has been ruled out of the T20 series due to injury, and he is not fully fit.

The Afghanistan cricket team announced the squad for this T20 series on Saturday, January 6th, sparking uncertainty about Rashid Khan’s inclusion in the playing eleven.

Rashid sustained an injury during the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 tournament, leading to surgery on his lower back.

Consequently, he couldn’t participate for Adelaide Strikers in BBL due to the injury. Recently, during the T20 series between UAE and Afghanistan, Rashid was unable to play.
