IND vs AUS Test Day 2: The 2nd day of the 4th Test match between Australia and India is over. By the end of the second day of the match, Team India has lost five wickets for 164 runs in their first innings. So far Australia has dominated this match.
Australia’s Strong First Innings
Earlier, veteran batsman Steve Smith from Australia batted explosively and scored an important century for his team. Steve Smith played a valuable innings of 140 runs in 197 balls with the help of 13 fours and 3 sixes in Australia’s first innings. During this inning, Steve Smith did not spare any bowler of Team India and hit hard against everyone.
Apart from the experienced batsman, Usman Khawaja scored 57 runs while young player Sam Kontas contributed 60 runs. Marnus Labuschagne played an innings of 72 runs. Captain Pat Cummins scored 49 runs while wicketkeeper-batsman Alex Carey contributed 31 runs.
For Team India, Jasprit Bumrah took four wickets in the first innings while Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets. Akash Deep took two wickets while Washington Sundar took one wicket.

IND vs AUS Test: India’s Struggles with the Bat in 2nd Day
Rohit Sharma opened for Team India in the fourth Test. However, the Indian captain was dismissed after scoring just three runs. KL Rahul contributed 24 runs while Virat Kohli returned to the pavilion after scoring 36 runs.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, the best opener for Team India, played a brilliant innings of 82 runs. However, due to a wrong decision, Yashasvi Jaiswal had to lose his wicket.
India Trails by 310 Runs
Akash Deep, who came out to bat as a night watchman, was dismissed without opening the account. By the end of the second day’s play, Rishabh Pant is batting on 6 * runs while Ravindra Jadeja has scored 4 * runs. Team India is still trailing by 310 runs in their first innings.
Australia scored 474 runs after losing all wickets in their first innings. The third day of the game is going to be very important for both teams.
