Captain Pat Cummins Provides Updates on Players fitness
Australian team captain Pat Cummins, during a press conference before the match against India, stated, ‘I am feeling good, and my wrist has completely recovered. I think I will be available for all three matches. Starc and Maxwell will not be able to play the first match against India. It is expected that they will join the team in the subsequent matches of the series. At present, we are trying to balance the team for the World Cup.’
Regarding Steve Smith, Cummins also mentioned that he is completely fine now and will be a part of the team in tomorrow’s match. He had some issues with his wrist, but now he is 100 percent fine.
Speaking about Starc, he is a key bowler for Australia, having taken 219 wickets in his 110 ODI matches. His best performance was taking 6 wickets for 28 runs. He has taken 333 wickets in 82 Test matches, with 11 wickets (94 runs) being his best performance in Test matches. In addition, he has taken 73 wickets in 58 T20 matches.
