IND vs AUS Test Live: India’s Struggles Begin in Perth
The whole of India had high expectations from Jaiswal because ever since he debuted for India in Tests, he has been continuously impressed. But in his first match in Australia, Jaiswal could not show the style he is known for. He made such a mistake that is like paving the way to the pavilion on Australian pitches.
Yashasvi made a mistake that is not usually made in Australia. Australia’s left-arm fast bowler Mitchell Starc took his wicket. From the very first over, Starc was keeping the ball at good length and behind it which was coming to Yashasvi’s waist with a good bounce.
Generally, on the bouncy pitches of Australia, batsmen avoid driving on the backfoot. Especially when the ball is new because there is a fear of it getting edged. Yashasvi did the same and the ball took the edge of his bat and went into the hands of Nathan McSwanney standing in the gully.

The ball was very fast with the bounce due to which Yashasvi could not handle the ball and lost his wicket. If he had waited a little more and got set, he could have played such shots. When Yashasvi was out, India’s score was five runs.
