Mayank made his debut in the first match of this series. Mayank is continuously impressing with his stormy bowling and in the third match, he joined the list of legendary players. Mayank took two wickets for 32 runs in four overs in the third T20 match.

Record-Setting Debut

Arshdeep Singh was given a rest in the third match. In such a situation, Mayank Yadav got the responsibility of bowling the first over. He took wickets on the very first ball of the match. He bowled a bouncer to Parvez Hussain Emon on the very first ball, which the batsman could not take properly on the bat and Riyan Parag took an easy catch. With this, Mayank has become the fourth Indian bowler to take a wicket on the very first ball of a T20 International match. Before him, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya, and Arshdeep Singh have done this.

Apart from Emon, Mayank dismissed Mahamudullah in this match. Parag also took his catch. This was Mahamudullah’s last T20 International match.
