India’s hopes of reaching the final of the World Test Championship 2023 have got wings. England has won 2 Test matches against Pakistan and taken a 2-0 lead. By this England eliminated Pakistan from the race for the World Test Championship.




India will have to win their next 6 Test matches to reach the WTC 2023 final. This simply means that in the match against Bangladesh India has to win.
In the Test series, the Indian team will have to win 2-0. Along with Bangladesh the match against Australia also will have to be won by 4-0. The Indian team will now have to decide the way forward for the World Test Championship itself. India’s chances of making it to the finals of WTC 2023 entirely depend on its own performance. A single defeat of the Indian team against Bangladesh can be fatal for the World Test Championship.

After the Test series defeat from England, Pakistan’s World Test Championship dreams have been washed. Now its chances of reaching the final seem impossible. Pakistan continues to be at the sixth position in the WTC table. Currently India is at the fourth position with 52.08% win percentage. Ahead of India are Sri Lanka (53.33%), South Africa (60%) on the second, and Australia (75%) on the third. In which the top two teams will qualify for the finals.

Australia will compete with South Africa. Recently, Australia easily defeated the West Indies. But winning the match against South Africa is not going to be easy for them.
