IND vs ENG 2nd T20: Team India Arrives in Chennai, Tilak Verma Praises MS Dhoni

IND vs ENG 2nd T20: The Indian cricket team has arrived in Chennai for the second match of the five-match T20 series against England. Meanwhile, batsman Tilak Verma expressed his admiration for Chennai Super Kings star MS Dhoni, saying the city is synonymous with the former Indian captain.

After defeating England by 7 wickets in the first T20 match, the Indian team arrived in Chennai for the second T20 match. In the first Test match, due to the brilliant bowling of Varun Chakraborty and Arshdeep Singh, the Indian team bundled out England for 132 runs. Abhishek Sharma batted aggressively for India. He scored 79 runs in 34 balls. He hit eight sixes in his innings. With the win in the first match, the Indian team took a 1-0 lead in the series.

Team India reached Chennai for the second T20 match:

The Indian team reached Chennai under the leadership of head coach Gautam Gambhir.  Talking to the cameraman, Tilak Verma said that Chennai only reminds him of MS Dhoni and superstar actor Rajinikanth. He also jokingly asked teammates Washington Sundar and Varun Chakraborty to arrange for some homemade food during their stay.

On reaching the hotel, the team was warmly welcomed by the staff and cricket organizations there. The second match will play on January 25 at 7:00 pm. At present, there is no possibility of any change in the Indian team playing eleven. On the other hand, after facing defeat in the first match, the England team will be looking for a new strategy.

IND vs ENG 2nd T20 Will Mohammed Shami play?

Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami was not included in the first T20 match. He has been battling injury for a long time. Currently he was fit for this series, yet he was not brought in the first match. Mohammed Shami recovered from an ankle and knee injury. Shami may get a place in the second T20 match. However, no official confirmation has been provided yet regarding his participation in the second match.
