India’s Dominant Batting Performance
The opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli came into the field. An aggressive start was expected from Virat. But Virat returned after scoring only 1 run. Then wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant entered the field. Rohit-Rishabh shared an unbeaten partnership of 69 runs for the second wicket. Rohit scored a half-century in 36 balls during this partnership. But after playing 1 ball, Rohit Sharma retired hurt and left the field. Rohit scored 52 runs in 37 balls with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes.
