New Zealand’s Innings
New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat. But the Indian bowlers managed to stop New Zealand within 250 runs by striking at regular intervals. Brook Halliday contributed the most runs for New Zealand. Halliday scored 86 runs off 96 balls with 3 sixes and 9 fours.
Apart from Halliday, none of the Indian bowlers were shown the way off the field before the big innings. Georgia Plimer added 39 runs off 67 balls with 6 fours. Isabella Gaz scored 25 runs. While Lee Tahuhu added 24 runs not out. Maddie Green scored 15 runs. Hannah Rowe scored 11 runs. Apart from this, others are wrapped cheaply.
A total of 7 bowlers from Team India bowled out of which only 4 were successful. Deepti Sharma took the most wickets with 3 wickets. Priya Sharma showed them the way out of the ground. While Saima Thakor and Renuka Singh both took 1-1 wickets.
