A Big Expectation from Kohli

A Childish Mistake from Virat

Kohli was dismissed by New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner, but the way Kohli got out, it seemed that a child who had just started cricket training was out. Santner’s ball was a full toss. Kohli could have easily played it straight, but Kohli went to play a cross shot which created a gap between his bat and pad and the ball hit the stumps. The way Kohli judged this ball and played it was his childish mistake and Kohli’s reaction was telling how big a mistake he had made.

Kohli sat down on his knees and looked completely dejected. He was very sad when he was going to the pavilion. His departure was a big blow for India. As soon as Kohli got out, there was silence in the entire stadium. No one could believe that he was out.

Team India Struggles

Team India started the second day with 16 runs at the loss of one wicket. Captain Rohit Sharma returned to the pavilion in the last session on the first day. In the first session of the second day, a strong performance was expected from the Indian batsmen but Team India lost six wickets in this session. First Gill returned to the pavilion and then there was a flurry of wickets. Kohli, Rishabh Pant, and Sarfaraz Khan were out one by one. after this India all out just 156 runs
