New Zealand Takes Strong Lead in First Test Against India

The third day of the first Test is underway between Team India and New Zealand on October 18. New Zealand’s first innings on the third day is 402. New Zealand has taken a strong lead of 356 against the Indian team. New Zealand wrapped up Team India by 46 runs. Rachin Ravindra scored a total of his second Test career and the first century out of the house. As soon as Ravindra was dismissed, New Zealand’s innings ended. Ravindra was a wonderful support for Team South. The duo shared 137 for the eighth wicket. So Team India could take a big lead. Apart from the two, Davan Conway contributed 91 runs. Five people from Team India bowled by the goal. They all took at least 1-1 wickets.

Rachin Ravindra Shines with a Century

New Zealand in response to Team India’s 46-run stand started the third day by 180 for 3. New Zealand had a 134-run lead. Rachin Ravindra and Darrel Mitchell started the game. Team India made a wonderful start to the day’s game. The Indian team gives New Zealand an instant four blows. Darrel Mitchell 18, Tom Bundle 5, Glenn Philips 14, and Matt Hanri 8 runs. Therefore, the status of New Zealand was 233 at 7. Team India had come back in the match. However, Rachin and Team Southie once made a comeback to New Zealand. The duo made a partnership of 137 runs in 132 balls for the eighth wicket.

India’s Bowling Performance

Mohammad Siraj smashed the set. Siraj dismissed Team Southee. Southee scored 65 runs with 4 Sixs in 73 balls and 5 fours. Azaj Patel Kuldeep Yadav scored LBW for 4 runs. So Rachin Ravindra was finally out. Rachin scored 134 for 157 balls with four sixes and 13 fours. Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja from Team India took 3-3 wickets each. Mohammad Siraj showed the two outside the field. R Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah both took 1-1 wickets and supported others.
