Bangladesh secured their spot in the semis by winning 2 matches, leading to a crucial match for Sri Lanka from Group B. Bangladesh secured victory against Sri Lanka by 6 wickets, booking their spot in the semifinals. UAE also clinched a victory against Japan by 107 runs, earning their semifinal berth from Group B.
Notably, Team India and Pakistan had already locked in their places from Group A. Consequently, Afghanistan and Nepal from Group A, and Sri Lanka and Japan from Group B, faced elimination.
In the upcoming semifinals, Pakistan will face UAE at Dubai International Stadium, while Team India will challenge Bangladesh at ICC Academy Ground, both matches commencing at 11 am on the same day.
