Brilliant Opening Partnership
The opening duo of Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana provided a strong start, putting up an 85-run partnership. Smriti Mandhana scored 45 runs off 41 balls with 9 fours, while Shafali Verma contributed 40 runs off 29 balls, including 1 six and 6 fours. Both players fell short of half-centuries but set a solid foundation for Team India’s victory. Following their departure, Dayalan Hemlata added 14 runs off 11 balls, and captain Harmanpreet Kaur along with Jemimah Rodrigues guided the team to victory with scores of 3 and 5 not out respectively.

Pakistan’s Batting Struggles
Pakistan opted to bat first after winning the toss but scored only 108 runs in 19.2 overs. Sidra Amin was the top scorer with 25 runs. Fatima Sana and Tuba Hasan remained unbeaten with 22 runs each. Indian bowler Deepti Sharma was instrumental in restricting Pakistan’s score, while Renuka Singh, Pooja Vastrakar, and Shreyanka Patil each took 2 wickets for Team India
