Women’s team India has blasted South Africa in the third and final ODI. Team India won the third match by 6 wickets. With this victory, the Indian team gave South Africa a clean sweep of 3-0. Strong Batting Performance
The opening pair of Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana shared a partnership of 61 runs for Team India. Shafali scored 25 runs off 39 balls. Smriti then added 62 runs for the second wicket with Priya Punia. Punia then returned after scoring 28 runs in 40 balls. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur entered the fray after Priya. Both Harman and Smriti shared a partnership of 48 runs for the third wicket. Smriti was dismissed for 90 runs. Smriti missed out on a hat-trick of centuries. Smriti scored 90 runs in 83 balls with the help of 11 fours.
Harmanpreet then added 43 runs for the fourth wicket with Jemimah Rodrigues. Harmanpreet scored 42 runs in 48 balls. After that, Jemimah Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh led Team India to victory. Team India scored 220 runs in 40.4 overs. Jemimah scored an unbeaten 19 off 31 balls. So Richa scored 6 runs off 3 balls. Nonkululeko Malaba and Ayabonga Khaka both took 1 wicket each from South Africa.

Series Victory and Player of the Series
With this win, India sealed the series 3-0. Smriti Mandhana’s consistent performance throughout the series earned her the Player of the Series award, having amassed 343 runs over the three matches.
