Criticism from Former Pakistani Cricketer
After the match, former Pakistani cricketer Basit Ali criticized Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga. Ali remarked, “Top-ranked all-rounder, Wanindu Hasaranga (former Sri Lankan captain). I think he considers himself bigger than the game of cricket. Cricket is a small thing, he is bigger than that. (In the second T20) he got out with a bad first ball. He was bowled by Suryakumar and Jaiswal. I think he should have been given the Man of the Match award It seems that Bumrah is starting to understand. He should learn from Ravi Bishnoi”.
