India-Bangladesh Series Faces opposed
Bangladesh cricket team has arrived in India for a bilateral series. On the one hand, while the excitement for the test between India and Bangladesh has reached its peak, on the other hand, social media is showing a wave of dissatisfaction about this bilateral series. This Test series is being opposed through the hashtag Cancel_Bangladesh_Series. The Bangladesh team will play a three-match T20I series along with a two-Test series on the tour of India. The first Test match between India and Bangladesh will be played on September 19 at the Chepauk ground in Chennai.
The series against Bangladesh has been opposed by the right-wing Hindu Mahasabha due to violence and tension in Bangladesh. Citing atrocities on minority Hindus in neighboring countries, Hindu organizations in India have demanded the cancellation of the India-Bangladesh bilateral series.
